People of America lend me your ears, for I have an important message that you surely will want to hear. I recently stopped by Desert Mountain Dental for a quick removal of a lower wisdom tooth - along with its anterior peers, which have slowly decayed under a 30 year old ceramic bridge - and I had a filling professionaly prepared and installed on a lateral upper incisor, concomitantly. The doctor - Jared Loveland, DMD - approached my mouth with the gentle hands reflective of a true artisan. In fact, he has been my dentist for many years because I always leave his office feeling like a work-of-art; minus his signature on my forehead, of course. As you might imagine, there was plenty of drilling, cutting, grinding, pulling, pushing, and snapping. But there was no pain. In fact, I did start to drop off during the noise generated by the rotary cutter as Dr. Loveland sliced through the bridge for removal. Interesting side-note: The sounds emanating from my widely stretched mouth mirrored the noise reminiscent of the scene from the movie Dumb and Dumber when Lloyd and Harry sat in a nail salon with the technician having to use a grinder on their toenails....I laughed to myself. And in no time at all, my visit came to an end. I rose from the recliner and was given strict orders on how to help my jaw heal. All I know is that my mouth was intact, albeit feeling a bit swollen from the local anesthetic. Yet, I really felt no pain or anxiety throughout the entire procedure. But, I always get the best treatment from Dr. Loveland. Equally talented are the team members who keep the office running smooth. They always treat me like a family member - and not the red-headed stepchild kind - which helps a bunch with keeping a positive atmosphere and a low anxiety environment. I truly appreciate the entire crew at Desert Mountain Dental. They are consummate professionals and care a tonne about their favorite patient, me. If you are looking for a dentist with an awesome staff, give them a call. You will not regret your decision.

I realized that the second dentist was wrong… sorry for the bad review before. ————————————————————— They wrongly diagnosed my pain, and suggested extraction and implant which is unnecessary and expensive. Glad that I did not follow them, and checked up it with other dentist later..!
I was referred to Dr. Loveland from a former Technician and I am so glad I got that referral. Dr. Loveland and his entire staff are so kind, friendly and most importantly, they are gentle. I had not been to the dentist in several years due to a crappy root canal job and I honestly felt that I would not go back to one unless something terrible happened. I was scheduled to get an infusion and had to have a checkup and needed to get a couple of small fillings. Since I'm not 100% disabled, the VA would not do those and I was referred to Dr Loveland by a staff member who had worked for him. God bless her because Dr Loveland fixed those small issues right away. During my first visit there was lots of talk & laughter which help me relax and take my mind off the dread I had. He suggested that I have a few more items done, and since I want to keep my teeth, I said let's do it. Each time I visit the staff are so friendly. It's like visiting an old friend. No, really it's like that. The staff greet you by name which makes you feel even more welcome. I have to talk about the picture with the truck. I really like that room because my first vehicle was exactly like that blue Chevy in the picture. Brings back such good memories I relax even more. Thanks to everyone on the team! You guys are great.

Everybody in this establishment are super pleasant and you can tell they really care. Decided to give them a try after hearing good reviews from another patient and having a bad experience at my previous dentist. Immediately felt at ease, the receptionist is incredibly thorough, the dentist is knowledgeable and make you feel 100% of diagnosis. The hygienist (s) were both also very good. Would highly recommend!
My husband and I have been going there for over three years. Amazing stuff and Dr Jared is so professional.. It’s 45 minutes from our house but it worth the drive. Nice environment and you will always feel welcome there.. Highly recommend 👍

The staff here are always friendly and supportive, which I need with all the work required on my mouth! Happy to not give Dr. L any money this time, clean bill of mouth! I definitely recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a new doctor. The wall art is great too, something to look at while lying in those chairs!

I’ve been coming to this dental office since we moved to Tucson 8 years ago. I’ve needed extensive dental work over the years and Dr.Loveland and staff have been there for me at every turn. Today I needed to adjust a dental bridge and plan for future care. Dr. Loveland spent the time to talk my issues out and come up with a viable plan.

Very good overall experience. The hygenist was very considerate of my comfort throughout the whole cleaning, explained what she was doing and why as she went along, and answers my 2 dental care questions and gave me a few fare tips as well.

We just started with Desert Mountain Dental based off a referral from a friend. Everyone is so nice and efficient, they truly care about you. Kortney is amazing and helped us navigate insurance. Dr. Loveland took extra time to explain everything to us before starting treatment. Alexis was kind and made sure to make us feel comfortable.

I was very satisfied with my experience at desert mountain dental. This office is super clean and the staff is very friendly. The hygienist was very thorough with my cleaning and professional. Dr Loveland came in promptly after my hygienist was done with the cleaning and was a pleasure to meet as well. The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating and explained everything in much detail so I knew what to expect. I will definitely be coming here for years to come.
On 7/10/23 I had my second visit to the office. The staff is amazing and makes you feel like family which is helpful for a dentist office where many people have fears. Dr. Loveland is very knowledgeable and knows his practice well. The reason for my visit was to have six tooth extractions and other than pressure which to be expected I did not feel a thing. One of my teeth had a trouble root and he was thorough in taking an x-ray to make sure he got all the roots. Having had extractions from other dentist offices I have to say that this was the best experience with them and I am pleased with the work done. This was my first visit at this office and I have to say I am extremely impressed. My previous dentist diagnosed a bunch of cavities and after my exam with Dr. Loveland I didn’t have anything near what I was originally quoted. The office manager is very knowledgeable about insurance and the dental assistant Alexis was super nice! Looks like I have found my new dental home. Dr. Loveland and his staff are amazing! It has been MANY years since I had the courage to enter a dental office due to fear and anxiety. My primary Doctor referred me to this office along with a prescription for valium. After scheduling my appointment and having a bit of an anxiety attack during the phone conversation. My appointment day arrived, from the moment I walked into this office my fears and anxiety disappeared. The lobby smells of cinnamon spice and everything nice. Not like any other dentist office I have ever been in. The staff welcomed me with bright smiles and compassion. Once I was called back Dr. Loveland's assistant she was beyond accommodating to my fears and explained everything she was doing before doing it. Took her time and showed she cared for my wellbeing. I returned the very next day to get major work done with the expectation of having nitrous (laughing gas) during my procedure. BUT! I didn't use it! This speaks volumes of this office and staff! If you are scared for any reason to go to the dentist, give this office a call! Your fears will be gone as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you.

I came in first because of a cracked tooth. The care and courtesy I received has had me back to fix the rest of my teeth. After multiple root canals and over 11 fillings in my youth, I avoided the dentist for over a decade, but Dr. Loveland and the skilled and friendly nurses here have made going to the dentist as comfortable and relaxing as it can be. Since my first visit I have gotten 1 crown put on, 1 crown replaced, a cleaning, X-Rays, and started in on my new fillings. I simply can't imagine feeling this taken care of at another practice.

Wonderfully friendly staff, reasonably priced, and great service. Went for a cleaning and it was an overall pleasant experience (as much as a dentist office visit can be). Susan the hygienist was super friendly and thorough. I called MANY dentists in Tucson and they all were quoting several hundred dollars just for an initial exam, after which they would then quote the price for a cleaning. Desert Mountain Dental is the only dentist office I found that had honest, reasonable, straightforward pricing without all the drama.

He and the AMAZING staff did not make me feel embarassed about the state of my teeth and gums and made me feel at ease (this is huge, I am 100% afraid of dentists). They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions with knowledge and compassion. Once we set a course of treatment, they explained every step of the process and helped me understand what to expect. I am now 2 days post extraction with my new dentures in and I am over the moon happy with my experience. I cannot thank them enough!

Desert Mountain Dental is the best dentist I've ever had, and I'm so glad to be their patient. The staff is kind and professional. Their dental hygienist is always gentle and thorough. I haven't been to the dentist in a while so I was really nervous, but as soon as I walked in I felt right at home. The dentist office is clean and comfortable, and the staff are all really nice and friendly and very professional. Dr. Loveland made my visit all the better! He was great at explaining what he as doing which kept me calm during my cleaning and fills. I would recommend this location to anyone and I look forward to returning in a few months for another cleaning!

Dr. Loveland is kind and gentle, all of the staff and assistants are warm and secure confidence. I have gotten the prettiest crowns from them because they work hard to match the color just right. I have difficulties with many chemicals and they work hard to try to avoid any possible reactions I would ordinarily encounter. Wonderful Dentistry.
My experience with Dr. Juan Valencia as well as the front end staff and the cleaning technician have been excellent. He replaced some very old fillings that were beginning to show some decay at a very reasonable price. His staff never tried to push for additional services as some large corporate places like Oracle Modern Dentistry does. I was also very happy with the cleaning technician and the financial person who immediately understood my insurance and explained all costs in advance. After putting up with rip-off dentists around town, I am happy 5hat I found this place.
With my 50+ yr old teeth, I tried Dr Jared Loveland at this office and found him & all of his office staff top notch. I went in for new patient visit & was impressed with their thorough exam. Immediately felt at ease, the receptionist is incredibly thorough, the dentist is knowledgeable and make you feel 100% of diagnosis. The hygienist (s) were both also very good. Would highly recommend!
My husband and I have been going there for over three years. Amazing stuff and Dr Jared is so professional.. It’s 45 minutes from our house but it worth the drive. Nice environment and you will always feel welcome there.. Highly recommend 👍

The staff here are always friendly and supportive, which I need with all the work required on my mouth! Happy to not give Dr. L any money this time, clean bill of mouth! I definitely recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a new doctor. The wall art is great too, something to look at while lying in those chairs!

I’ve been coming to this dental office since we moved to Tucson 8 years ago. I’ve needed extensive dental work over the years and Dr.Loveland and staff have been there for me at every turn. Today I needed to adjust a dental bridge and plan for future care. Dr. Loveland spent the time to talk my issues out and come up with a viable plan.

Very good overall experience. The hygenist was very considerate of my comfort throughout the whole cleaning, explained what she was doing and why as she went along, and answers my 2 dental care questions and gave me a few fare tips as well.

We just started with Desert Mountain Dental based off a referral from a friend. Everyone is so nice and efficient, they truly care about you. Kortney is amazing and helped us navigate insurance. Dr. Loveland took extra time to explain everything to us before starting treatment. Alexis was kind and made sure to make us feel comfortable.

I switched to Desert Mountain Dental a few years ago after seeing their great online reviews, and am glad I did! I’ve had a crown and root canal and have been happy with the procedures and results. Dr. Loveland and his staff are very friendly and professional and the hygienists have always performed thorough cleanings to keep my teeth in top shape!! The location is convenient as well.

I was very satisfied with my experience at desert mountain dental. This office is super clean and the staff is very friendly. The hygienist was very thorough with my cleaning and professional. Dr Loveland came in promptly after my hygienist was done with the cleaning and was a pleasure to meet as well. The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating and explained everything in much detail so I knew what to expect. I will definitely be coming here for years to come.
On 7/10/23 I had my second visit to the office. The staff is amazing and makes you feel like family which is helpful for a dentist office where many people have fears. Dr. Loveland is very knowledgeable and knows his practice well. The reason for my visit was to have six tooth extractions and other than pressure which to be expected I did not feel a thing. One of my teeth had a trouble root and he was thorough in taking an x-ray to make sure he got all the roots. Having had extractions from other dentist offices I have to say that this was the best experience with them and I am pleased with the work done. My previous dentist diagnosed a bunch of cavities and after my exam with Dr. Loveland I didn’t have anything near what I was originally quoted. Dr. Loveland and his staff are amazing! It has been MANY years since I had the courage to enter a dental office due to fear and anxiety. My primary Doctor referred me to this office along with a prescription for valium. After scheduling my appointment and having a bit of an anxiety attack during the phone conversation. My appointment day arrived, from the moment I walked into this office my fears and anxiety disappeared. The lobby smells of cinnamon spice and everything nice. Not like any other dentist office I have ever been in. The staff welcomed me with bright smiles and compassion. Once I was called back Dr. Loveland's assistant she was beyond accommodating to my fears and explained everything she was doing before doing it. Took her time and showed she cared for my wellbeing. I returned the very next day to get major work done with the expectation of having nitrous (laughing gas) during my procedure. BUT! I didn't use it! This speaks volumes of this office and staff! If you are scared for any reason to go to the dentist, give this office a call! Your fears will be gone as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you.

I came in first because of a cracked tooth. The care and courtesy I received has had me back to fix the rest of my teeth. After multiple root canals and over 11 fillings in my youth, I avoided the dentist for over a decade, but Dr. Loveland and the skilled and friendly nurses here have made going to the dentist as comfortable and relaxing as it can be. Since my first visit I have gotten 1 crown put on, 1 crown replaced, a cleaning, X-Rays, and started in on my new fillings. I simply can't imagine feeling this taken care of at another practice.

Wonderfully friendly staff, reasonably priced, and great service. Went for a cleaning and it was an overall pleasant experience (as much as a dentist office visit can be). Susan the hygienist was super friendly and thorough. I called MANY dentists in Tucson and they all were quoting several hundred dollars just for an initial exam, after which they would then quote the price for a cleaning. Desert Mountain Dental is the only dentist office I found that had honest, reasonable, straightforward pricing without all the drama.

I came to Dr. Loveland in a lot of pain and desperate for relief. He and the AMAZING staff did not make me feel embarassed about the state of my teeth and gums and made me feel at ease (this is huge, I am 100% afraid of dentists). They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions with knowledge and compassion. Once we set a course of treatment, they explained every step of the process and helped me understand what to expect. I am now 2 days post extraction with my new dentures in and I am over the moon happy with my experience. I cannot thank them enough!

Desert Mountain Dental is the best dentist I've ever had, and I'm so glad to be their patient. The staff is kind and professional. Their dental hygienist is always gentle and thorough. I haven't been to the dentist in a while so I was really nervous, but as soon as I walked in I felt right at home. The dentist office is clean and comfortable, and the staff are all really nice and friendly and very professional. Dr. Loveland made my visit all the better! He was great at explaining what he as doing which kept me calm during my cleaning and fills. I would recommend this location to anyone and I look forward to returning in a few months for another cleaning!

Dr. Loveland is kind and gentle, all of the staff and assistants are warm and secure confidence. I have gotten the prettiest crowns from them because they work hard to match the color just right. I have difficulties with many chemicals and they work hard to try to avoid any possible reactions I would ordinarily encounter. Wonderful Dentistry.
My experience with Dr. Juan Valencia as well as the front end staff and the cleaning technician have been excellent. He replaced some very old fillings that were beginning to show some decay at a very reasonable price. His staff never tried to push for additional services as some large corporate places like Oracle Modern Dentistry does. I was also very happy with the cleaning technician and the financial person who immediately understood my insurance and explained all costs in advance. After putting up with rip-off dentists around town, I am happy 5hat I found this place.
With my 50+ yr old teeth, I tried Dr Jared Loveland at this office and found him & all of his office staff top notch. I went in for new patient visit & was impressed with their thorough exam. They found a few minor items,but suggested no action unless I was being bothered by them. They did find one small cavity, which I confirmed later myself and got an app't the VERY next day. It took only abt 30 minutes and they billed me exactly what they said it would cost upfront. I've only had 3 other dentists in 50+ years. Loveland & entire staff were fabulous and friendly.
